Testing thoughts continued...

Ok, to finish my thoughts on testing....If we are going to keep testing as we know it....and that's a BIG IF....we are going to have to streamline and digitize it. Why you ask? It is a matter of quicker feedback and will allow for special programs students to be better served within the confines of the classroom and normal testing environment.

Our current way of testing has gotten so bogged down it to test security that it honestly takes up more time than it is worth. Not to mention that the validity of the test are in question. If the public and teachers knew how the test are scored and "curved" now called normalized, there would be a public outcry.

For now though we are stuck with our current system and we will have to make the best of it.
